Luke 7:36-50 presents two contrasts of how we approach Christ. We can see ourselves somewhere on the spectrum of these two extremes. One only cares about unreservedly honoring Christ and the other shows reserve and contempt. One is defended by Christ. The other is called-out by Christ. One is acceptable worship. The other is not.
